Dems won't let DeLay dust settle
Abuse-of-power references pop up in ads, campaigns

WASHINGTON - Across Connecticut's southwestern coast, Democratic congressional candidate Diane Farrell tells voters her opponent, GOP incumbent Christopher Shays, has ties to Tom DeLay's "right-wing agenda."

In Nebraska, former Democratic Sen. Bob Kerrey criticizes GOP Rep. Lee Terry for his alliance with "ethically challenged" DeLay.

And in Texas, Democrats slapped DeLay, the U.S. House majority leader from Sugar Land, with a subpoena Thursday in an abuse-of-power redistricting lawsuit while unveiling a new television commercial that calls him arrogant.

DeLay's troubles with the House ethics committee have made him campaign fodder in congressional races across the country. If voters didn't know the Republican leader's name before this year, the ethics probes that led to three recent admonishments have given his opponents a fresh opportunity.

4. It is Richard Morrison
I met Mr. Morrison at a campaign fundraiser earlier this week. He is an impressive person. I really hope that he wins.

2. I saw commercial mentioned. It is great
I saw the commercial discussed in this article. It was very hard hitting and simply a great commercial.

I really hope that Richard Morrison defeats Delay. Delay is an embarrassment to Texas and needs to removed from office.

6. We need to make Delay the new Gingrich.
He's easy to despise on appearance alone. We need to raise his profile exponentially.
