Another Fort Collins tech company announces layoffs (200 jobs to China)

FORT COLLINS - A tough week for Fort Collins tech workers got tougher Friday with the announcement of more job cuts.

Advanced Energy Industries plans to eliminate 200 jobs in the next nine months. The move comes as the company moves part of its manufacturing operation to China.

The company produces equipment used to make computers and microchips.

Obviously, another company in Ft. Collins did the same thing earlier this week - 100 additional jobs to China there :(
