BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. Oct 22, 2004 — Democratic Sen. John Edwards accused President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney on Friday of manipulating facts and trying to frighten Americans in a desperate effort to win re-election.

Drawing the wrath of the vice presidential candidate was the latest ad from the Bush campaign that suggests the country would be vulnerable to terrorists if Democratic Sen. John Kerry were elected president.

The commercial shows a dense forest and wolves resting on a hill. The animals stir and move forward, and an announcer says: "Weakness attracts those who are waiting to do America harm."

The Republican Party of Boneheads hasn't exactly made us safe. In fact, they have united billions of people against us, destroyed our unity, our reputation, endangered our currency and economy... and they've forked over billions to defense contractor buddies with offshore accounts while leaving our basic defenses (and needs) in shambles.

If we had a free press, ie, television that wasn't owned by same defense contractors, maybe the truth would have slipped out by now.

These morans aren't going to keep us safe; at best they're going to turn us into a third world country, at worst they're going to get us killed.
