Group Proposes Closer Ties With Venezuela

After several years of feuding, Venezuela's largest business chamber has proposed closer ties with President Hugo Chavez's government to create employment and spur economic growth.
Lope Mendoza, president of the Conindustria industry chamber, proposed "measures ... that we want to establish to save businesses, help (create) employment and, above all, help the small and medium-sized businesses."
Mendoza's statements Monday came after a closed-door meeting with Venezuelan Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel.
Conindustria was pushing for closer ties with the government despite past criticism of economic policies and ongoing feuds between other business groups and the leftist president, Mendoza told the state-run Venpres news agency.

Bush's people have found a new plan through this association to get next to Hugo Chavez in order to destroy him.
