Gov. Won't Commit to Stump for Bush (Arnold re: Ohio trip!) LAT
Schwarzenegger says he might campaign for the president in Ohio but otherwise will focus on candidates and issues at home.

SAN FRANCISCO — Though he still won't commit to campaigning out of state for President Bush, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is blitzing California in the days before the election, stumping for legislative candidates and urging voters to follow his advice on a string of ballot measures.

Schwarzenegger appeared at a rally here Monday afternoon to tout an initiative, Proposition 1A, that would make it tougher for the state to tap local government revenue during financial crises. He told reporters afterward that "we haven't really made up our mind yet" as to whether he would campaign for Bush in the last week of the presidential race.

He is considering a single trip to Ohio — there and back the same day, probably Friday.
........
But Schwarzenegger represents a state that is considered a lock for Democratic challenger Sen. John F. Kerry. He risks alienating his Democratic and independent supporters if he helps Bush too much.

"Might campaign..."? "Is considering..."? The TV told me he "would be" in OH, not he "may be" in OH. If he punks out, it will be a huge blow to Bush.

20. Many of us wrote letters to him
I did , I told him it would be a politically stupid move for
him to go to Ohio .

He won the Governorship with Democratic votes ,
the same people who will not vote for bush .

9. I was under the impression ...
that the trip he was making to Columbus, Ohio was a personal appearance, and that he might or might not also do a little stumping for Bush* while he was there. No doubt he'll make the personal appearance -- it was at some bodybuilding or health-related convention -- whether he attempts to campaign for the Naked Emperor or not. He's probably already been paid for the appearance in Columbus.

17. I can't find anything, either.
I thought I read it in a post on here somewhere in the last couple of days, but I can't find anything on a search engine to confirm it. Must just be a campaign stop.

14. I Wrote Him & Said IF HE LEAVES CA TO TROLL FOR *......
He'd be lucky to be elected Dog Catcher after that, and that the good people of CA for the most part despise Bush and he would be making his opponent's campaign ads, they could just cut his OH Bush Stumping in with his "I Heart NIXON" RNC speech!

22. Ah-no is disgusting and should be impeached. This is what
repukes are. Spreaders of hatred. I can't believe it's acceptable in America to call tax payers and legislators 'girlie men'. It's nothing more than Hitler's plan to mark Jews with a star on their clothing so that they are easily identifiable by the public and the public could slur the Jews on the street and in the media (newspapers posters). How could this happend in America and be acceptable to leaders of the GOP party? The entire GOP party should be banned in America and we can begin to bring honor and morality back to America.

23. MAKE SURE you've written to Arnold and told him NOT TO GO
if you haven't done so yet.

Tell everyone you know to do the same. He may well ditch out if we all voice our opposition.

Then again, after his idiotic comments yesterday about Ted Kennedy, who knows.

Asshole!

29. I watched a interview with Arnold last week on cspan.
He said the very same thing then. He said Ohio was the first place he won MR. World, he owns property there, and a lot of friends in Ohio, so he will probably go there to campaign for shrub, but other than that, his job is Calif. and thet's where he's concentrating his efforts.
