Democrats out-registered GOP by 100,000-plus in Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG -- The Democratic Party won this year's hotly contested race to sign up the most new voters, as the number of registered voters in Pennsylvania surged to 8.2 million, according to figures released Tuesday.

Of the 437,896 new registrants statewide since the April primary, 247,207 were Democrats and 138,864 were Republicans, according to statistics from all 67 counties in the state.

I heard, flowomo, that the Sentinel tried to endorse Glen Grell (Mr. let's tax food and cut your real estate tax by $1,000 to $2,000) for the 87th but wound up accidentally endorsing his brother, Dan Grell. Is that true? The Harrisburg Patriot-News endorsed my candidate, Marilyn Zilli.
