ORLANDO, Fla. -- The federal government stopped hundreds of Central Floridians from getting flu shots because the vaccine was from a Canadian company and not approved for use in the United States.

Officials said there is nothing wrong with the vaccines but since they came from Canada -- a non-licensed provider -- they cannot be administered in Central Florida.

They keep shooting themselves in the foot, over and over, again. No flu shots for 30,000 Floridians? Wow. Good thing there aren't any retirees in Florida. Especially any that vote. :eyes:
