Cheney Cites Kerry Adviser in Iraq Flap (takes no responsibility)
KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) on Wednesday rejected Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites)'s criticism of the Bush administration for the disappearance of hundreds of tons of explosives in Iraq (news - web sites), saying the Democratic candidate doesn't have the answers to what happened to the weapons.

Cheney, campaigning near the heart of the most heavily contested area of Florida, said the facts surrounding the missing explosives are unclear, that Kerry "doesn't know" the answers and that Kerry adviser Richard Holbrooke "admitted as much." He renewed his criticism that "John Kerry will say and do anything except give our troops the backing and praise they deserve."

In a television interview Tuesday with Fox News, Holbrooke said "the U.N. inspectors had told the American military this was a major depot." He added: "I don't know what happened. I do know one thing — in most administrations the buck stops in the Oval Office."

A Kerry campaign spokesman, Phil Singer, said in a statement: "Dick Holbrooke has said he doesn't know about particular details. The last time I checked, George Bush (news - web sites) is in charge of marshaling the facts and is commander in chief."

The disclosure that nearly 400 tons of explosives have disappeared from a former Iraqi military installation has become a major issue in the final week of the campaign. The International Atomic Energy Agency had warned the U.S.-led coalition that invaded Iraq to secure the explosives, fearing they could fall into the wrong hands

1. So, somehow this is Kerry's fault?
It's a good thing I am a patient person. It allows me to do things like wait for Dick to die of natural causes.

5. Slick Dick might as well say Kerry would make a much better commander
in chief than the cheerleader in chief. I think Slick Dick will say and do anything to character assassinate a strong opponent of the excuse administration!

9. They NEVER take RESPONISBILITY
AND isn't this the plain down right TRUTH!!!!!!!

It's the liberals. It's the ACLU. It's Clinton. It's Monica. It's the "climate of
permissiveness". It's France. It's the liberal media. It's Clinton's p*nis. It's
Hillary. It's Gov. Dean.

We never could have known they'd fly planes into buildings. "No actionable
intelligence". They didn't tell us to do anything. O'Neill's lying. Clarke's lying.
General Shinseki's lying. The Union of Concerned Scientists is lying. Our own weapons
inspector David Kay's lying. Wilson's lying. John Dean's lying. Everyone's lying but us.
We had to lie. We never lied.

Plame outed herself. It's Janet Jackson's boobs. It's the Statue of Justice's boobs. No
one told us about the abuse. It's a few rogue soldiers. Reading the news might cloud my
judgement. It's the "decade our government...blinded itself to our enemies".

It's the homosexuals wanting to marry. "Restore honor and dignity to the White House". A
decision to go to war wasn't a decision to go to war. "No actionable intelligence". It's
the pledge of allegiance. They're taking God out of America. Osama didn't tell us when
and how he'd attack. The 9/11 panel is biased against us. Saddam = Al Qaida. Saddam = Al
Qaida.

Chalabi's an honorable man and I believe everything he says about WMDs.
Chalaibi's a crook and passed secrets to Iran. Chalabi's the liberals' fault because
they didn't shoot us when we started using his "intelligence".

The economy's good because of my policies.
The economy's bad because it needs another 4 years of my policies.

Terrorists can run but they can't hide. Terrorists are breathing down our necks.

Clinton stole the 380 tons. It wasn't ever there.
It was there but Saddam moved
it before we got there. It wasn't there.
We don't know whether it was there or not, but Kerry's lying about it.

We can and will win the war on terror. We can't win it. Yes we can!

It's all these former staffers hawking their books. Money never corrupted anyone. "I'm a
uniter, not a divider!" It's the stem cells. It's the feminazis, the intellectual
elitists, and the ecoterrorists.

.

It's anybody but Bush.

Well, fine then. Vote Kerry Edwards.........Take our country Back

19. here is the * response on missing weapons?
"Now the senator is making wild charges about missing explosives when his top foreign policy adviser admits, quote, 'we do not know the facts.'" Bush said. "Think about that — the senator's denigrating the action of our troops and commanders in the field without knowing the facts. Unfortunately, that's part of a pattern of saying almost anything to get elected."

So in others words, * stays silent on missing weapons to stay on message. Never answers the question cuz HE DOESN'T KNOW THE ANSWER!!

15. This one really takes the cake!
Gee, I guess they are saying we should all look to Kerry now for leadership instead of them. I must have missed President Kerry's inauguration speech. The utter incompetence of this administration is becoming more obvious with each passing hour.

20. So let me get this straight...
moron invades iraq to find WMD's based on wrong info but takes no responsibility for it, now chaneyass goes on to say that the conventional weapons that should have been protected during morons occupation are gone and it's Kerry's fault. Nothing like circuitous logic. Makes by brain hurt.

24. We may not know all the facts, but we know these:
-The weapons WERE there
-Now they are NOT there

COINCIDENTALLY, there just HAPPENED to be an invasion of the country between those two times. But that didn't necessarily have anything to do with them going missing. Nevertheless, a reasonable person might conclude that there was a relationship.

Or, Vreeland stole them and they are in St. Paul.
