Hassan "issued an appeal to Britons to urge British Prime Minister Tony Blair (news - web sites) to withdraw his troops from Iraq and not redeploy them in Baghdad," the television said.
The Doha-based Arab satellite television aired footage of the aid worker with a wall as background, but she was not heard speaking.
Hassan's plea was aired as British troops began their deployment on Wednesday from southern Iraq to an area near the Iraqi capital on a US-requested mission.
In the video received by Al-Jazeera, Hassan also "asked the British government to release Iraqi women prisoners held" in Iraq, Al-Jazeera said.
