RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - An ambulance pulled up outside the headquarters of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat on Wednesday and three medics went inside, a Reuters journalist said.

Earlier Israeli TV said the Palestinian leader's health had deteriorated.

Both the Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurie and his predecessor, Mahmud Abbas, were meeting with the 75-year-old Palestinian leader, witnesses said.

1. I read that he had gall stones.
It's not like his followers will suddenly break into a rousing chorus of "Give Peace A Chance" if he dies.

Don't let the repukes make a biggie out of this.

2. If Arafat codes out...
I do hope that means those poor people start to see a light at the end of the long tunnel that they have lived within.

People got to be free...

4. UH oh...big trouble for little BUSH
...if Arafat gets the paddles, and either lingers near death or takes a trip to the great beyond, the news coverage will be EATEN UP. Weewee is running short of ad money, so he is counting on the stupid soundbites being played on the cable stations of his lameass speeches. What will people see? Arafat and Carter, Arafat and Clinton, hope for the peace process, dashed irreparably by weewee, who refused to push the process beyond a few lame declarative statements.

5. he does have Parkinsons disease, right?
I mean, whenever I see him he's practically a bowl full of jelly, shaking all over the place. Reminds me of Muhammed Ali.

6. No, his doctors
say it's from a neurological injury from a plane crash some years ago. People can shake for other reasons...one tremor even runs in families.
