Postal Experts Hunt for Missing Ballots in Florida
MIAMI (Reuters) - U.S. Postal Service investigators on Wednesday were trying to find thousands of absentee ballots that should have been delivered to voters in one of Florida's most populous counties, officials said.

The issue evoked memories of the polling problems that bedeviled the Florida election in 2000 and which the state has been trying to address before next Tuesday's presidential election, which is again expected to be a very tight race.

Broward deputy supervisor of elections Gisela Salas said 60,000 absentee ballots, accounting for just over 5 percent of the electorate in the county north of Miami, were sent out between Oct. 7 and Oct. 8 to voters who would not be in town on election day.

NOTE: This story isn't very late or breaking. In fact, another post to LBN says they've already stopped looking for these missing ballots.

2. 60,000 missing absentee ballots... those can be found (before but most
likely after the elections, when it is too late to count them) ... but just imagine if 60,000 absentee ballots which can form a paper trail for a recount accountability are missing !!!!!!!!!!!!! how many more of our electronic votes will be/are already missing, unnoticed, unrecounted, undeliverable as intended when cast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and judge cohn ruled against wexler's case for accountability and democracy and in favor of glenda hood and jeb bush! This is America in the 21st Century! Unbelievable.
It is such a different America from the one John F. Kennedy offered us... and Bush has the chutzpah to invoke his name and dear Caroline has the courage to stand up to Bush and say, please don't ...
It may be that she is providing a beacon light to those of us who may need to stand up to the bush coons and say, 'you will not steal our votes again'!
