Listening to Ari Fleischer used to be free if you had a press pass or got C-SPAN. Now, hearing the former White House press secretary praise President Bush can be pricey.

Fleischer raised $100,000 for his former boss's reelection campaign on Thursday at a fundraiser in South Burlington, Vt., with tickets running $1,500 a person or $2,500 a couple. During brief luncheon remarks at the Vermont National Country Club, Fleischer made no mention of the state's former governor, Howard Dean, a Democratic presidential contender who has surged in polls and fundraising.

Living near Sacramento, I'm always amazed @ how these people sneak in & out of our community. They know they are not popular rulers. They also know that they are dependent on the money that comes from the mean, demented minority that get invited.
