COLORADO:


_ Republican poll watchers filed a complaint claiming election officials in the Democratic stronghold of Pueblo County failed to require early voters to produce identification.


_ The machines that Boulder County uses to count votes bogged down in a recent test, choking on improperly marked ballots and prompting a three-day review to determine the final result.


FLORIDA:


_ Broward County officials are mailing out a second batch of absentee ballots after a glitch kept them from reaching their intended destinations. Broward County, the state's biggest Democratic county, figured prominently in the messy recount of 2000.


_ A state appeals court ruled that Florida acted properly when it adopted a rule for manual recounts in 15 counties that use touch-screen voting machines.

The Republican voters don't seem too worried about all the shenanigans. This is SOP for them in today's world. It didn't used to be this way.

Even if they widened the scope of fraud they are not getting a free ride like 2000. It will be ugly. They will lose enough on this front to give Kerry a bigger lead. People will be mad after this too even if it is a landslide.

But the fun is starting early. The lawsuits are not very good in our favor, but the fight is helping us.

I overheard a neighbor talking to someone. He said "Kerry was a prosecutor for God sakes! And Edwards was a trial attorney! If they get into office they will litigate us into oblivion!"
Wow, I knew he was a republican, but I didn't know he was nutcase.

5. we voted absentee ballot in Broward County. My husband hand delivered the

ballots to the Supervisor of Elections Office... given all the shenanigans we are wondering where will our votes end up and will they be counted. It is awful to vote and then to have to wonder whether or not your vote wil be "disappeared" or whether or not it will be "counted".
