Most ethnic minorities favor Kerry
Like we're all surprised

SEATTLE – Throughout the nation, unprecedented efforts are being made to boost voting levels among minorities, whose voting numbers have lagged far behind those of Caucasian voters. It's expected that on Tuesday, ethnic votes will turn this trend around and be a large part of the record turnout expected.

Two of the largest minority groups – Latinos and Asians – have voting levels that are much lower than their groups’ population growth, according to a paper published by the Urban Institute Immigrations Studies Program in July.

In Washington state, where Democrat John Kerry is expected to win, minorities make up 22 percent of the 6.13 million population (in 2003) and the number of Latinos and Asians is rising fast, according to the Washington Office of Financial Management.

2. My Native American (Alaska) neighbor just came over and I ask her....
if she's voting and who for. Turns out her whole family are long time
Democrats, except (surprise surprise) a couple of them who are fundie
type Christians.

She also told me a former neighbor who I gave a mail-in registration form
to was a big homophobe. I got the feeling when I gave him the form he
wouldn't follow through on it, and I hope he doesn't! He just moved a
month ago way across town, and I doubt if he will drive all the way back
to vote, even if he bothered to register.

Hhey, how many Moonies are voting for Bush besides the Christian variety and the atheist hate groups(weird libertarians, although they are getting riled at Bush's despotic ways)?

How many innocents didn't see the debates or Bush flops on TV because they are not allowed to participate in modern technology(but can make an exception and vote against those of us who do)?
