This was one of the emails at the GWB 'Dead Letter Office.' http://www.georgewbush.org/deadletteroffice/I was actually reading the article posted above in Newsweek this afternoon when I came across the name "Randa Fahmy Hudome" and little bells went off in my head. (Ok, more like voices talking, but who's listening?) Anyway, I thought that name was very familiar and that it was on the Dead Letter page. Sure enough. There she is! On edit: I didn't read everyone's posts. I'm SO behind today. Didn't realize that you were already on to her. I tell ya, you have to get up really early to beat anyone at DU! lol. (And I don't get up early. ;) ) Also, the article IN Newsweek itself is not the article above. But both are written by same person. Strange that the one in the magazine would not go into this in detail. But the web site, Newsweek, does link to the story in the magazine. Go figure. Here's the link for the mag. story in case anyone is interested. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6314340/site/newsweek/-----Original Message----- From: Randa Fahmy Hudome Sent: Monday, October 25, 2004 10:07 PM To: Phareswire@aol.com; hfwhite@yahoo.com Cc: jkarim@georgewbush.org Subject: Re: (no subject)
Okay Walid - after our conversation I went ahead and did a google search on the names below. I am not sure if they are spelled correctly. I did not find anything questionable. Since I do not know most of them - I cannot vouch for their reputations. You will have to do that. Kamal Nawash cannot be on the list - for the reasons we discussed.
Remember this: We do not want to do anything that might harm the President's chances of re-election by exposing him to any controversy. If you have doubts about these names - perhaps we don't need to do this press release at all. -- Randa Fahmy Hudome, President Fahmy Hudome International, LLC 815 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. #200 Washington, D.C. 20006 202-429-5566 202-429-5577 fax
