If it's a threatening tape, you really do have to wonder if it could backfire. ALl this talk about the security moms (which could be a myth) -- I think it could send them running wildly from Bush to Kerry. I know some pundits suggest voters could react by saying, "F-You, bin laden. If you try to impact my vote, I'll spite you by voting for Bush!" are already in Bush's corner. And although it may be a stereotype, I tend to think any security moms - if they exist - would switch sides in a flash. Because they're all about protecting their kids, if we believe the media. Which means they're weak supporters of whoever they support. Which leads me to think any new threat will send them packing.
