þ ISLAMABAD Oct. 29 (KUNA) -- A spy plane of the US-led coalition troops in þ
þAfghanistan Friday violated Pakistans airspace and flew 15 kilometers into þ
þthe North Waziristan tribal agency, close to Afghan border, officials said.þ

þ The US place stayed into the Pakistani airspace for at least fifteen þ
þminutes, hovered for over the rugged mountainous region but did not land þ
þanywhere, an intelligence official told KUNA.þ

þ The official said the violation was unintentional. "It flew into Pakistani þ
þairspace by mistake".þ

þ The military spokesman Shaukat Sultan confirming the violation report said, þ
þ"We have lodged protest with the US officials".þ

þ Meanwhile, a remote-controlled explosion in the same area killed a shepherd þ
þand wounded three military soldiers, said the spokesman.þ
