34. Fricking Thompson Can't Even See that We Have Enough Flu Vaccine
Where the Hell does he get off speculating (incorrectly) on foreign policy?

Actually, OSB should want Bush to remain in office. Bush is a proven dolt, failure, etc. and plays into OBL's hands. Bush is the best recruiting tool our enemies have. OBL doesn't want to contend with an intellectual like Kerry when he already has an arrogantly inflexible nitwit.

... really wants to keep his job. Too bad he, like the rest of Bush's administration, isn't any good at it.

24. He is pretty well connected. And I think he would like to be Gov
again. But I think there are many people in Wisconsin who know about the former Gov's real " family values " and may not go along with protecting Sue Thompson this time. She is a real sweetheart, but this time the welfare of the state and nation will have to come first.

36. Why do you think Sue Ann stayed in Elroy, even when the Gov
was in Madison ? And of course she does not live with him in D.C. His parties at the Gov. mansion are legendary. I can't be the only one on DU from Wisconsin to know about this. I know it is well known around Madison.

7. Why would Bin Laden want Kerry elected when it is the chimp
who has allowed him to walk around free these past 3+ years? I'm sure Bin Laden doesn't want to "change horses in mid stream" and risk being captured by Kerry. How stupid do these morans think we are, anyway?

14. Maybe we are missing the point.
Maybe Bin Laden wants Bush defeated for the same reasons I do. Maybe Bush is a greater threat to the people of the world than is Bin Laden. Maybe Bin Laden actually was acting out of revenge on 9/11. Maybe he and his followers had had enough of the US Oil Companies ruining that part of the world. I don't condone his aggression on our country, but I understand it.

Maybe, just maybe, Bin Laden sees the world as a better place without the corporate fascists at the wheel.

in his perverted way he has always been honest about his underlying purpose of fighting against those oppressing and ripping off the Muslim people.

...the mindless Bushbot zombies would take a moment to wonder why it seems that Bush and bin Laden play for the same team.

Troops out of Saudi Arabia : check
Overthrow secular government and install Islamic one in mideast nation: check
Ignore the I/P situation: check

That Thompson is saying this is beyond vile, I can't even begin to describe my disgust with this administration. They are traitors, and they deserve the fate of traitors.

21. Tommy Thompson doesn't get it...
Bin Laden wants Bush. So therefore he implies that he wants Kerry. Everyone goes "Hey! Terrorists want Kerry!" and then vote for Bush. Bush gets re-elected, bin Laden is off the hook for 4 more years.

31. My thoughts too!
Why on earth would Thompson presume to tell us what the hell OBL wants? How does he have this knowledge - is he speaking with members of OBL's posse or OBL himself?
I hate when some Bushbot puts Bush's job above the country and says something this disgraceful (there have been quite a few qho have made this same point).
Of course Thompson, like most Bush appointees, just started walking upright not too long ago so he probably doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about the consequences of his words.
:spank:

Just imagine if Richard Holbrook or Bob Rubin, as Kerry campaign consultants, said that OBL wanted Bush elected so he could continue to hide from justice. Wolf Blitzer's head would explode and Judy Woof-Woof, Chris Matthews, Tim Russert and all the others would be having orgasms large enough to start an earthquake in D.C. as they contemplated their coverage of the outrageousness of the Kerry campaign.

26. You called him a "punk"? No.. he's a shameless asshole!
Punk is too nice. Those people ought to be ridden out of D.C. on a rail! They are the scummiest, meanest, most despicable, pieces of shit in political history.

I was explaining to my 12 year old, what got Nixon to resign, and why it was called, "Watergate". Guess what? As I described the events surrounding Nixon's downfall, I realized that it was MINISCULE compared to what Bush and his henchman have done. A comment like that from Thompson should be resoundly ATTACKED in the media, and disavoed by the candidate. BUT.. they will not. Because they are shameless assholes who will DO AND SAY anything to get elected

Thompson is spinning it opposite of WH boosters in the media.
There it's been all for new fears-threats of worse attacks adds
to claims R adm. "tough on terror". Three years plus but they need !!four more to get him!!

My e-mails are out to media Bush surrogates--hope you all are.

32. OBL's little PR stunt
was likely designed to allow him to spin a claim that he determined the outcome of the election no matter who wins. From a strategic view, however, with whom would he likely prefer to match wits-- an incompetent, ideologically rigid bumbler or a cool, war-tested leader who commands the respect of those he led in battle?

At first, the spin was "this will help us, ha ha" and now that's that is clearly not the case they are going this route. They'll get their just desserts in 2 days. It will be fun watching them all unravel in the aftermath of *'s humiliating defeat. These people have all permanently ruined their careers by being party to Bush's lies and failures. Good riddance.
