Kerry keeps Fla. lead (52% are ready for a change)
Sunday, October 31, 2004

President Bush started last week with Florida voters evenly split about whether he should be reelected: 48 percent supported him and 48 percent wanted someone new.

He ended the week with 52 percent saying they are ready for a change, compared with 45 percent favoring reelection.

The shift in response to a question that did not mention Sen. John Kerry by name ? documented in an ongoing Palm Beach Post poll of 600 likely voters in 10 battleground states ? suggests movement is afoot in the too-close-to-call presidential race.

For the second day in a row Saturday, Kerry was holding onto a narrow 49-47 percent lead in Florida over the president, according to The Palm Beach Post/Reuters/Zogby International poll.

4. READ THIS GANG ===
Someone I know just got back from Florida.

He was in shock at the 'Anti Bush' Sentiment while he was down there in the Orange County Area.

'Kerry Supporters' are standing on street corners in many area's.

Seniors are disgusted with him Bush.

Workers at Disney World are all for Kerry.

Store Keepers are all for Kerry.

****Republicans are insulted of having to go through swearing and signing an oath to see Bush at his rally's, they find it APPALLING.

People are walking around with Kerry Buttons.

This guy went down there with his Family for Vacation but he was planning on doing some 'Kerry Supporting' when he could but was surprised to the point where he is predicting Kerry is going to Win Florida if the same 'Anti Bush' feeling is statewide. He didn't have to do what he thought he was going to do when he could because it was already being done, to 'get the message out!'

Thats it, a thread from my world to all of you.

5. Great feedback. Thanks.
I, too, have wondered what must go on in the minds of thinking Republicans as they are forced to sign those loyalty oaths in order to worship Bush.

17. Central Fla is supposed to be republican.

If what your friend says is true, and I have no doube it is after seeing the lines at the early voting places, we'll take fla big time.

We tried to vote today at the Ocoee (just west of orlando) library, but there were lines of cars waiting to get into the parking lots, and this is a large parking area like a shopping center. From the street we could see the line of people waiting to vote. There had to be three to four hundre in line at once, with constant replentishment.

I could be wrong but I think we can count on florida's electors.

Kerry. Landslide. Republican party death rattle.

9. I want to cheer, but I'm outraged that nearly half the people are idiots.
How can it possibly be anywhere near fifty percent?!
Americans are so fucking stoooopid!
This should be 90% to 10%.

But at least he appears to be ahead. So, yay? Yay.

10. I would not count on Florida no matter what the polls say
for obvious reasons. We need to be able to win without Florida.

11. I think we can!
I say we'll win FL, but I agree with you that it could be stolen again. I think we can win, though, even without FL.

See Laelths Election Projection for the whole number-crunching story.

GOTV!
