Bin Laden half brother upset by latest video
WASHINGTON — Osama bin Laden’s elder half brother was upset by the Al Qaeda chief’s new video, Time magazine reported.

“It was upsetting,” said Yeslam bin Ladin said of the latest video message by the family outcast in which Bin Laden warned Americans that they must change their policy toward Muslims to avoid further September 11-style attacks.

“It’s the violence. It wasn’t a surprise to know that he was still alive. I always thought that if he was killed, everybody would know it. It seems that he might have seen the Michael Moore movie Fahrenheit 9/11,” he said in the latest edition of Time to appear today.

Bin Ladin is based in Geneva and has Swiss-Saudi citizenship. He gave the interview in Paris for the launch of a new perfume he has developed.

“I’m not only a bin Laden. I am Yeslam bin Ladin. I have my own identity. It is my perfume, my creation. I was about to do it several years ago, but then I had to stop because of the events of September 11,” he said. “I expect people out of curiosity will try it, and they will find the smell out of this world.”

7. Uh, I'm reading his ex-wife Carmen's book, and he ain't no nice guy
I'm not very far into it, but he's a scary dude. Not in a Usama way, just as a typical Saudi fundamentalist dick way.

3. Babs and Pickles might try his 'perfume'.

But, I don't believe there's much interest outside of that little circle. Most of America has better taste than these two 'First Ladies' have.

6. Isn't he the one Rove called to arrange for the video?
Or was it through one of the other half brothers that Rove sends messages to Osama.

Was the video really Osama or was it one of his brothers?

9. So what is this scent called?

Anyone know? I must make certain not to try some.

Reminds me of something I read:

"It is believed bin-Laden also has access to various chemical and biological weapons. And it's already an established fact that he has sleepers who are quite prepared to die in the commission of a terrorist act against American interests. One such nightmare scenario has a bin-Laden associate pack some kind of chemical agent into a perfume atomizer. A bin-Laden sleeper from, say, France, could easily board a plane to New York with the "perfume" in her luggage along with other innocent appearing toiletry items.

Once in New York, the atomizer could be passed to another sleeper who simply walks through a crowded subway spraying "perfume" as he went. We'd never know a thing until people started dying. How does one screen for perfume? Or hairspray? Or deodorant?"

Is this what he means by "out of this world"?

11. I'm confused. Is this a perfume commercial?
I wonder if the RNC and bin Ladens got together again for a final attempt to slam Michael Moore?!?!? Bizarre, but it would kinda be up their alley. I'm quite certain they were partners for 9-11.

14. Eau de peur
I hope Time charged him for that commercial.

Before the Michael Moore film(IF Osama actually saw it since he might merely have heard about some of those things), before that Osama might have had different presumptions about American awareness of world events.
Now knowing how the media filters and edits, he might understand better the difficulty of communicating anything, een through terrorism. This might have given pause or added to their confusion on exactly what to do.

Not that it would stop terrorism, but puzzling over how to achieve any results with terror when the populace is blinded into following the Bush/media lead might save lives in the short run. Putting the sense back into senseless violence is not very easy. I am sure that speech was an attempt. I am not sure our befuddled masses or the media got the point nor that another attack would do any good in that regard. And if it is senseless, then the fanatics would have to be doing it for pure, non-religious revenge.

But they dwell under their own stubborn illusions.

Maybe they should get an Osama Bin Stewart to do a comedy stint of Al Qaeda religious propaganda on Al Jazeera. He would get a larger following for a clearer truth.

16. Bin-Laden/Bush perfume
It smells like a heady mixture of oil, blood, and death, with hints of exploding jet fuel and undertones of pet goat.
