Here in Florida, like possibly all other areas, there is pressure on people to go along, to get along. Anyone who has a differing opinion is called a dissenter and is quickly ostracized. And the way they go about doing it is characteristic to small towns. So, you don't have to be an ACTIVIST to be a Republican hack. Just don't stir trouble for them and if you can do what you THINK they want you to do, even better.

3. Wait a minute...trying to keep someone off the ballot

is about as cheap and dirty as you can get. Yes,Repubs are much worse than Dems but saying that they tried to block your dirty tricks(keeping Nader off ballot) so that makes them dirty is convoluted logic. Do I want Nader on the ballot in Florida...no,thats not the point. If Dems had stolen the election from the Repubs in 2000 I would be very vocally opposed to it. Just because my side profits from something doesn't mean its right or I like it. Have Americans lost all sense of whats fair?
