4 kidnapped in Iraq
American, 3 Others Kidnapped in Iraq

18 minutes ago Middle East - AP

BAGHDAD, Iraq - An American and three other foreigners were kidnapped Monday from their office in western Baghdad during "an exchange of fire," an Interior Ministry spokesman.

The American, an Asian and two non-Iraqi Arabs were seized in the operation, which took place in the capital's Mansour district, said the spokesman, Col. Adnan Abdul-Rahman.

He said first reports indicated shots were fired but he didn't know by whom. He said the victims were believed to be working for a Saudi company but he had no further details.

In September, Militants kidnapped two Americans and a Briton from their offices in Mansour. All three were later beheaded.

Yikes

Looks like an upcoming week of video on the news of hostages begging for their lives.

On Edit; this is what happens when you put GREED before COMMON SENSE.

2. Yep, things are really going well in Iraq.
And I'm sure they'll get much better if Bush stays in office. That is what he said, isn't it? Okay, sarcasm off. These tragedies pale by comparison to what's happening to our troops and the thousands of Iraqi civilians who are dying and wounded, but this is tragic nonetheless. Let us hope and pray this will all be over soon. It will be a terrible mess for Kerry to fix, but I believe he will do it and do it soon. If Bush pulls this off, the tragedies will repeat themselves endlessly throughout the world.

3. A concise and succinct analysis
of the situation, and at the same time pointing out the ongoing tragedy as the result of the fascists' war of choice. Great post!

4. Unfortunately, almost half the country still thinks
Georgie's our guy to keep us safe. I think Kerry can kick some serious butt in the DOD, and give the war back to the generals, then this mess would be over in about 3 days!
