SAN DIEGO (AP) The CIA interrogated and roughed up Iraqi prisoners in a ``romper room'' where a handcuffed and hooded terror suspect was kicked, slapped and punched shortly before he died last year at the Abu Ghraib prison, a Navy SEAL testified Monday. Blood was visible on the hood worn by the prisoner, Manadel al-Jamadi, as he was led into the interrogation room at Baghdad International Airport in November 2003, the Navy commando said at a military pretrial hearing for another SEAL accused of abusing Iraqi prisoners

Sometime later, Al-Jamadi was found dead in a shower room less than an hour after two CIA personnel brought him into Abu Ghraib as a so-called ``ghost detainee,'' according to Army Maj. Gen. George R. Fay's report on the notorious prison. Such detainees were not listed in the normal roster of military prisoners

The hospital corpsman was a surprise witness during the two-day proceeding, taking the witness stand only hours after reaching a plea deal with prosecutors that would spare him prison time.

Besides the corpsman and the boatswain's mate, five other members of the SEAL team were charged with abusing Iraqi prisoners. Charges against a chief petty officer were dismissed last week. Article 32 hearings for the other four SEALs have not been scheduled

MORE THUG TROOPS WHO COMMITTED WAR CRIMES. I HOPE SOME ONE LAYS THE LUMBER TO THESE MURDERERS

OK Troop apologists come on down. LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE.

These hoodlums need the DEATH PENALTY. Their commanders need to be stripped of rank and sent to life prison terms.

1. Iraqi Court.
The people responsible for torture and deaths should be tried by an Iraqi Court. It will never happen. Even the person responsible for the policy will never be held accountable.

Rumsfailed Admitted to Violating Geneva Convention

Rumsfailed admitted in public on TV that when CIA Director Tenet requested that an Iraqi prisoner be sent to a secret Afghan/US Prison that Rumsfailed did so. After four months a DOD Attorney stated that this was an illegal act. Rumsfailed then ordered that this prisoner be sent back to Abu Graihib but the prisoner was purposefully not listed at that location, also an illegal act. Rumsfeld also admitted to signing orders for tougher interogation methods which violated the Geneva Conventions.

Rumfailed has commited at least three violations of the Geneva Convention; thereby also violations of The Constitution of the USA. Recently it has been found out that even more detainees were "ghost detainees". The fact that Rumsfailed and Tenet have not been charged speaks volumes. If Congress wishes to garner any respect they should move forward with Rep. Rangle's Impeachment Declaration of Rumsfailed and also proscecute Ex. CIA Tenet.

Does the US, Govt., Congress, and the Justice Dept no longer abide by the Geneva Convention or the Constitution of the USA?

2. ....to add
The testimony about the CIA's role came during a hearing for an aviation boatswain's mate who is accused of punching al-Jamadi and posing in humiliating photos with the prisoner. The boatswain's mate, a 14-year Navy veteran, allegedly twisted other prisoners' testicles and struck a prisoner in the buttocks with a wooden board.

3. Ah Ha Twisting a Muslim Man's Testicles
That story will get around. His relatives will swear a death oath to get even.

Who dreams up this shit.

Like Lynndie saying the CIA told her and Sabrina Harmann to duct tape their used, dirty Kotex Maxi pads to the POW's faces.

I'm sure glad we are bringing democracy to this country of Iraq-Nam. Especially with taping Bloody,Nasty, used Kotex Pads to the Faces of prisoners in our jails there.

Maybe they could import this quaint interrogation technique to the US to use on drug dealers and guys who won't confess to writing bad checks. </sarcasm>
