Republicans Using Phone Banks [Swedes for Bush???]

The Republican Party is using what's called phone banks to connect with voters, and they have three very unique volunteers.

"I'm from Sweden, the capitol of Sweden, Stockholm, and we're here to campaign for Bush-Cheney," Rickard Nyman, Sweden resident campaigning for Bush, said.

In all, 15 Swedes came to America to help the Rrepublican Party re-elect Bush. The reason- "I think that the world is going to be a more safer place if the president is re-elected," Nyman said. ???

"Bush stands for a secure world. I think the whole world will be more free world and a global free world and a freer society here in U.S. and in Europe," Nils Hedberg, Sweden resident campaigning for Bush, said.

Something they say Kerry can't provide.

"No, you don't know what that guy stands for, and that's a problem. You know, we are living in a time that we can't put our trust into a man that you don't know what he's going to think the next day," Nyman said.

Unfortunately, they misuse the word Swedish. When I was in SF you could get pornos on your hotel room. Two out of eight had the word in the title, but obviously had nothing to do with Sweden. I think it comes from the fact that some of the first studies on sexuality was made in Sweden. Do you remember Taxi Driver, the movie? The guy takes his date to a porno flick. But it's not a porno flick... it's an educational movie in Swedish. Well that was in the 70s. When it comes to sex today, I think Swedes are much less openminded than what people think.

MUF, the youth organisation of Moderaterna, the largest conservative party in Sweden. In fact, I used to be a member of the same group and I can promise you that even among the conservatives very few likes Bush. Now I've grown up and consider myself very much in the center of the political spectrum, that is to the left in America. However, there are still some young vocal conservative clowns, who believe the world would be better off without any taxes whatsoever.
