5. exactly what I was thinking - he's looted the treasury, for sure
I'm sure the White House looks like a giant oil drill to him, and I'm sure there are a few more dollars he can pump out for himself and his friends.

Seriously, is he working for the bin ladens?

That would explain a lot.

8. U$A keeps acting
like an a$$hole, there are many countries really to bankrupt U$. It is called economic warfare and since all of us peons are already broke, hopefully those 1% families who have been making moola since the Civil War and Robber Baron days will be bankrupted, but I doubt it.
Read Kelvin Phillips Wealth and Democracy traces economic history of Spanish, Dutch, British and U$ empires. Will the U$ empire be the fastest to go down the drain?

12. Information Clearing House transcript
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 10:59 PM by cal04
Al-Jazeera aired only four minutes of Osama bin Laden's videotape released last week, this is the transcript for the full 18 minutes. "No-one except a dumb thief plays with the security of others and then makes himself believe he will be secure. Whereas thinking people, when disaster strikes, make it their priority to look for its causes, in order to prevent it happening again. "

But I am amazed at you. Even though we are in the fourth year after the events of September 11th, Bush is still engaged in distortion, deception and hiding from you the real causes. And thus, the reasons are still there for a repeat of what occurred.

And as I looked at those demolished towers in Lebanon, it entered my mind that we should punish the oppressor in kind and that we should destroy towers in America in order that they taste some of what we tasted and so that they be deterred from killing our women and children.

And that day, it was confirmed to me that oppression and the intentional killing of innocent women and children is a deliberate American policy. Destruction is freedom and democracy, while resistance is terrorism and intolerance.

This means the oppressing and embargoing to death of millions as Bush Sr. did in Iraq in the greatest mass slaughter of children mankind has ever known, and it means the throwing of millions of pounds of bombs and explosives at millions of children – also in Iraq – as Bush Jr. Did, in order to remove an old agent and replace him with a new puppet to assist in the pilfering of Iraq's oil and other outrages.

So with these images and their like as their background, the events of September 11th came as a reply to those great wrongs, should a man be blamed for defending his sanctuary? Is defending oneself and punishing the aggressor in kind, objectionable terrorism? If it is such, then it is unavoidable for us. This is the message which I sought to communicate to you in word and deed, repeatedly, for years before September 11th.

And it's no secret to you that the thinkers and perceptive ones from among the Americans warned Bush before the war and told him, "All that you want for securing America and removing the weapons of mass destruction – assuming they exist – is available to you, and the nations of the world are with you in the inspections, and it is in the interest of America that it not be thrust into an unjustified war with an unknown outcome."

But the darkness of the black gold blurred his vision and insight, and he gave priority to private interests over the public interests of America.

13. Not According to the book Imperial Hubris
Bin Laden supposedly looked at how to beat America. He studied how the Vietnamese beat us and it was by hitting our then weak point, our kids. Bin Laden decided that we had learned our lesson there and would not allow photos of coffins coming back into the country. So he set his strategy to hit our economy. He was right about the censorship of coffin pictures. The guy is not a dummy.

Also in that book. Bin Laden caught a lot of heat for the WTC attacks from the Islamic world. Many saw it as an offensive jihad rather than a defensive one. He then met with clerics and tried to convince them it was defensive. They said he MUST do certain things before they would approve it as a defensive jihad. He must offer to allow us to convert. He must offer to teach us the ways of Islam. He then agreed that he also understood that the American people were separate from our government and he offered to allow us the opportunity to reject out government. That is sort of the message we got.

Do not get me wrong I do not think whoever is elected will satisfy him. I also suspect if he is for anyone to win it would be Bush. Since Bush has done more to unite Muslims than anyone since Richard the Lionhearted. I do believe the author of Imperial Hubris had it right, unless of course if Bin Laden read that while watching Moore's film too.

19. Bin Laden has considerable skills
Edited on Mon Nov-01-04 11:01 PM by Nicholas_J
as a business man. No one better to be able to figure out what is necessary to riun someone elses economic base. It is an irony that someone who mastered the free enterprise system, could bring and ecoomy down. The efrfects of one attack in the U.S. put a trillion dollar dent into the economy. Something on a larger scale could do far more serious damage. I do not doubt that it is possible.

Remember, when the first attack occured, there was a surplus to buffer it. With the deficit, a similar attack would have a far greater effect.
