8. That's a 6.7% shift away from Bush in a Republican area.
It's better news than the other way, for sure.

12. Yahoo story updated with new results...
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041102/ap_on_el_pr/eln_first_votes&cid=694&ncid=716

Hart's Location:
16, Bush. 14, Kerry. 1, Nader.

Hart's Location ('00):
17, Bush. 13, Kerry.

Dixville Notch:
19, Bush. 7, Kerry.

Dixville Notch ('00):
25, Bush. 5, Gore. 1, Nader.

VERY interesting to note that Bush has LOST votes since the last election and the Democratic canidate has GAINED votes. And all this, in Middle O' Nowhere, NH. This bodes well for our candidate!

15. my MIL will not vote for bush*...
Repuke her whole life and at 76 can not vote for bush*. She watches way too much faux though and can't bring herself to vote for John Kerry. My hubby was trying to convince her to vote Kerry or stay home because a vote for nader is like a vote for bush*.

17. How, in this situation, is a vote for Nader like a vote for Bush?
Either way, Bush loses a vote, and Kerry doesn't gain a vote, so what is the difference?

19. Technically correct but
votes give twerpoid encouragement. Maybe another time he will be a significant factor. (Kerry in a landslide).

14. all those that voted for Gore voted for Kerry
and many that voted for the bush coward voted for Kerry - this will happen accross America, there is no way Kerry can lose if they count all the votes. The people of Anmerica are waking up, crawling out from under their beds and deciding it's time to "Move-on" back to peace and prosperity

18. This is my territory, so to speak and this place really is a
republican area. If they split, then the handwriting is definitely on the wall!!! This would be akin to finding out that half of George's family voted Kerry!!!
