London on High Terror Alert
http://www.thisislondon.com/news/articles/6513273?source=Evening%20Standard

<snip>
A terror attack by suicide bombers on a target in London is now almost inevitable, Britain's most senior police off icer warned today.

<snip>
Sir John, who has previously warned of the possibility of London being targeted by Islamic terrorists, issued the strongest warning yet of a possible suicide bombing. He said he would not hesitate to put troops on the capital's streets if he thought it necessary

<snip>
"That quantum leap is all about people prepared to give their lives for their causes," Sir John said.

<snip>
The warning also comes days before emergency services are to have preparations for a terror strike tested in a simulated chemical attack on Bank station this weekend.

2. More rhetoric in the Culture of Fear
I'm not saying that an attack is impossible or implausable, just that the 'terror' reaction to it just makes matters worse.

5. reminds me of this
The warning also comes days before emergency services are to have preparations for a terror strike tested in a simulated chemical attack on Bank station this weekend.

http://www.thememoryhole.org/911/cia-simulation.htm

On the morning of September 11th 2001, Mr. Fulton and his team at the CIA were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building.

8. i hate it when they say "an attack is almost inevitable"

what kind of crap is that? if you are going to say that, you might as well just resign. "oohh it's almost inevitable. the terrorists are going to get us any moment now. might as well just sit back and let it happen. ho hum."

do your job, m&therf&CKER! at least pretend!!

9. Translation:
Tony can't take the heat so he uses the tried and true PNAC/Fourth Reich tactic of scaring the hell out of everybody so they forget about the important questions that need to be answered. Blind patriots unite!

12. Round up the usual suspects!
I'm sorry. I find it hard to take this seriously with the "wag the dog" mentality so prevalent.

Maybe it's just quid pro quo: per Bush "British intelligence has learned..." per Sir John: "American intellignece has learned..."

13. Was the 'practice' suicide bombing the Erie, PA 'bank robbery'?
The suicide bombing 'bank robbery' has Rove's PysOps written *all* over it. Moreover, the 'coincidental' death of the friend of the 'suicide bomber' is being labeled 'unrelated' to the bombing.

LOL, if it wasn't so pathetic.

18. We're going to invade Columbia next right?
The columbian necklace proves that it was a terrorist attack on the US by Columbia. In fact I bet Venezuela is in on it too - they're latin too, you know?

I think we should invade and occupy Columbia fiorst, then Venezuela.

What do you think?
