Docs without Borders announce they are leaving Iraq. Too dangerous.
Just saw this on the MSNBC scrolling news stuff.

great people. Really great people. I've dealt with them in eastern europe. For them to leave, well I wish they had said this three days ago.

1. When do the DOCs start leaving the US ... the nurses
sure seem to be sniffing out opportunities outside the US. And with no foreign students wanting to go to Merika, I guess medicine will be left to the faith healers.

5. lots of people leaving Iraq
most recently, along with MSF, are tens of thousands of professors, earlier there were thousands of Christians and Jews, who had been living there for generations, but now are victims of violence.

6. it wouldn't have helped
half the voters in America care more about gays getting married than they do about thousands of dead US soldiers and Iraqi civilians

8. That's right! These people are the bravest I have ever seen.
If they are bugging out it is getting really bad.

I had the honor of knowing and helping these people during my military service. Extremely brave and dedicated. This is terrible news for the Iraqi people.
