Qualex Inc., a subsidiary of Kodak, plans to lay off 300 employees at its call center near Research Triangle Park by June, company officials said.

The job losses are part of Kodak's attempts to stay ahead of consumers' shifting preferences toward digital photography and away from traditional film, said Joan Greer, vice president of Qualex and Kodak Services & Support.

The job reductions will begin in March, Greer said.

The Durham call center's work will move to company centers Rochester, N.Y.; Toronto; and some third-party vendors.

1. I relish these posts, keep them coming.
Maybe I should put a magnetic "support red state workers" ribbon on my car.

4. We need to remind them about going back to community college too
Everyone that's layed off or outsourced and voted for Bush needs to get a personal message from a democrat.

2. But at least gays can't get married! Morals are more important than jobs.
Good luck with this, America. After all, it's what you wanted.

6. Too bad we can't find out who they are and send them
"Cheer Up" cards... and on the inside:

It could be worse,
gays could be allowed to marry
women could have the right to choose
and Ted Kennedy could have confiscated your guns

ps..Sorry about the job..
enjoy your free time with the family

Sincerely,
Jesus H. Christ aka. GWB
