U.S. prefers diplomacy with Iran, but conflict possible
Surprised they waited a whole three days before announcing their intentions </sarcasm>

Of all the foreign policy challenges facing President Bush in his second term, none — apart from Iraq — looms larger than Iran.

<snip>
The situation is so volatile that officials and foreign policy experts in both Iran and the USA say the possibility of armed conflict is real. "All options are on the table," Bush told Fox News.

2. Yippee! Another Freakin' War!
Will we get to have more tax cuts, too?!

I am so excited about the *Co agenda - I just know it going to do great things for our mighty and powerful militarily dominating world force!

(sarcasm will reign throughout my posts until I get a lobotomy)

7. More tax cuts
Yes. GMA had someone on this morning (I only caught part of it, not his name) who said that the tax cuts already in place will now be made permanent and that there are 2 more that will take place within the next year.

Just as soon as Bush finishes 'reforming' SS, which starts today.

I'm not sure if SS in Duby-ass vocabulary stands just for Social Security ...

That's my biggest concern.

11. persia
I had a dream in persia, (iran), where i was walking down the
street and admiring the architecture of an ancient culture. Women
in hoods kept coming up to me and asking to be free. A persian
dream of so many people under a patriarchal dictatorship.

Military attacks would kill those women as collateral damage, and
totally violate the very principals of what "liberating" people might
be considered.

It seems the real enemy is authoritarian patriarchs and strongmen,
and who are "we" to lecture another country for letting the anti-feminist
mullahs take over.

12. Bring on the draft. How are we going to get the military to fight all
these countries.

My crystal ball tells me that the Moslem countries will untite against us and this will bring about nuclear war. Bush is mad.
