2. Glory!
The people have spoken. This is the right war, at the right place, at the right time. War isn't pretty, but freedom is on the march. I would prefer if all of the newspaper and television outlets would begin to show, up-close and in full color, the photographs of freedom marching. The people voted for this, so the people should see freedom in the form of an arm here, a leg there, and a head in this corner of the picture. For that matter, I think we'd be more motivated if we showed the pictures of the dead terrorist families and children. Put them on billboards. Freedom first! Exporting democracy!

13. Sounds good to me...
As long as you convince the media to put BACK the pictures of the two towers falling and our fallen mothers, fathers and children. Remember--Kerry said he would hunt down and kill the terrorists as well. Seriously, how is this any different? Or would you be bashing him as well for using military forces?

15. How is this different?
Why, I don't guess there's one bit of difference. We all know that Saddam bin Laden attacked the towers. We've always been at war with Saddam bin Laden.

But by God in Heaven Above, we caught the mastermind of 9/11! He was there in that spiderhole, getting his dental work checked out. I saw the pictures with my own eyes!

So yes, let's publish the graphic pictures of 11 September also! Praise be! It will be a wonderful reminder that we've captured the Iraqi mastermind behind the terrible attacks. Osama Huss...I mean, Saddam bin...wait, can you help me out on a couple of points that are confusing me?

There's a Hussein and there's a bin Laden. Now, I don't think bin Laden is responsible for anything, because my leader, Herr Bush, said that he's not very worried about bin Laden. And if he isn't worried about bin Laden, then bin Laden couldn't have done 9/11, and so I'm not worried about bin Laden. We got Hussein, and so it must be him.

And then there's that Saudi Arabia place. But they're our helpers in the War Against Terror. Well, and they help the other sides too. But I guess that's what you call Reaching Out, just like my Beloved Leader does.

I've opened up to you, and I feel we're getting to know each other. So please don't take this personally, but before we bond any further, I just need to find something out, just to make sure you're a friend, not a foe. OK, here goes. You're not....um, gay, are you? Don't mean to offend, but there ARE gay marriage-supporting fiends among us. I'm all about Values and Morals myself. Well, and killing the little terrorists before they become terrorists (but not before they exit the womb). And I'm sure you feel the same...I just had to check.

Lock and Load, and Praise Jesus!

20. let's bond...
Gay? No.
Gay friendly--absolutely.

I agree with you about OBL being responsible for the towers, but I also think Saddam was responsible for many more attrocities on his own people. I also think Iraq still has a ton of terrorists and terrorist influence there as well.

I don't want the innocent dead. Please don't take that the wrong way--what I am saying is this: If Kerry was prez today, and we were still taking action in Iraq, would you feel the same?

My statement wasn't meant to be confrontational--it was meant to remind us that it seems we are more upset over what's happening over there than what happened to us here.

Thanks!

My step son's duties have been extended in Iraq. He's on the JFK carrier and I guess they'll be the ones bombing the hell out of Iraq in the coming weeks. This is his 3rd trip to Iraq. He's married, has 4 kids and was due to come home in December. He's not happy but he voted for bush....Good Luck Son. Don't let the bullets hit you in the ass.

28. It will be nip and tuck in Fallujagrad
Fallujagrad

The “Real Iraqi Resistance” has already left Fallujagrad..

The only ones remaining are a few die hards that want to kill as many amerikans as possible
before they die. They have set thousands of mines and booby traps.

The war in Iraq-Nam is only starting.

It will be the WARSAW GHETTO part 2

As General Jurgen Stroop of the Marines levels the city. And exterminates the remaining
inhabitants

Stroop crushed the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. SS Major General
Jurgen Stroop (center) looked on as the Warsaw ghetto went up in
flames. The Nazis resorted to burning the ghetto, building by
building, in order to flush out any Jewish fighters remaining in
the ghetto. Sentenced to death by an American Military Tribunal
for shooting American pilots, he was subsequently extradited to
Poland, retried, sentenced to death and executed in Warsaw in
1951.

30. Here's the clarification - I'll take it slow
1. Troll - someone who posts on DU to spread their pro-*, nazi idiocy. Your series of posts today leave little doubt as to your inclination.

2. Obviously everyone on DU wants the young man to make it back safely. It's just that in DU, we don't wrap ourselves in the flag -- we don't speak in sound bites - we think things out. Having said that, we (I'll take the liberty of assuming that I speak for a majority of folks here) despise the lunacy of the commander in chimp's bizzare decision to attack Iraq when there was work to be done elsewhere first, sort of like a child who creates a distraction to avoid cleaning his room. We hate the fact that this child has to fight *'s wars while *'s family does . . . ? We detest the fact that the military is composed primarily of the children of those who are not extremely wealthy. All the while, the chimp does smile.

Thnaks for your keen interest in DU.
