1. I hope Harry Reid does get the Minority Leader, didn't think he was
a very good choice at first, but after further discussion he'll be great. Knows the rules and the guts of the body of the Senate that will really be helpful in opposing and filibustering!

4. I don't think so
I think he will be another Daschle - always compromising away any democratic advantage just to get along and still getting kicked and stabbed in the back.

7. I'm tired of weak voiced, compromising, overly polite,
Democratic politicians. We keep losing and losing...
what ticks me off on top of losing is losing without
the best fight possible. I want politicians as loud
and obnoxious as Newt Gingrich. I want politicians who
are angry, defiant and "not going to take it anymore!"

9. I could care less. The party needs to change.

I'm joining Trippey and Dean in their fight to change the party from inside. IF that doesn't work, a new party may be in the offing.

I think that with this win the repugs have pushed the Democrats to the margins and the only weapon left is the fillibuster, which the repugs can negate just by changing the rules.

It's time for change. America must return to sanity and I'll work to help it be so.

11. Anyone know the relationship between Durbin and Kerry?
The closer to the inside we get with friends of Kerry, the better the chance to take bush down.

12. Great News
We need Dems in leadership positions from safe Blue states. Illinois repukes don't stand a chance bringing him down. He doesn't have to go along to get along. He's free to speak his mind.
