WASHINGTON - A federal panel has decided that a list of conservative activists given to President Bush's campaign appears to be an illegal corporate contribution, but the roster "isn't valuable enough" to warrant government action. ...

The Federal Election Commission concluded that the activist list did amount to a corporate contribution, which is banned under campaign finance rules, but said the list was "of so little value" that the case "wasn't worth pursuing".

I feel like I'm living in the novel 1984.

1. Laws are simply not applied evenly.

However, now this is precedent. It means we can use this case and do the same things and if the federal panel rules differently, it's discrimination.
