2. Tommy is a useless dingbat, but I hear he is planning to run for Gov
of WI in 2006 again. It would be a grudge match since Tommy and Dem Gov. Jim Doyle hate each other. I do worry about that race though because Doyle, I don't think has made much of an impression one way or the other on the state--he is so low-key, but Tommy, for whatever reason is pretty popular here, but has no coattails.

4. I know Cofer Black has a bad rap, but
inside sources say he was one of the few sane and rational THINKERS giving advice. Except the administration routinely refused to take it.

I suspect we will miss his insight. And now that the neocons push out Powell, look out mama, better hang on and enjoy the ride.

11. Not if Wisconsin can put the evil tag on Tommy like the GOP
put on Kerry through the work of the church.

13. I don't know, I think there are enough Tommy-lovers here to give him
a good shot! Repugs in my area still hate Doyle for not supporting the property tax freeze and the definition of marriage.

3. it is chilling to wonder who * will pick as replacements because
anyone of stature, who has a brain and integrity, will not want to associate with *.

He is going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for new appointments.

14. Well, now that BushCo has a "mandate" it is time to let go of
"moderates" such as Rumsfeld, Ridge and Thompson and bring in compassionate conservatives such as Goehring, Goebbels and Mengele to replace them.

15. does anyone else worry that this is some kinda purge?....
I've always remarked that it's incogruous that the instrumental policy makers (Feith, Perle, Scooter, et al) are "deputy" "undersecrtary" "advisor." Is this a prelude to consolidating neo-con (cryptofascism) in upper echelon policy making, with a little more authority and autonomy? So now instead of advsing, they become policy makers??!!

16. Condi Rice leaving too...
http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,1280,-4600023,00.html

"Blackwill's absence will shorten the list of people reputed to be in the running to replace Condoleezza Rice as President Bush's national security adviser. Rice has told associates she will not stay in the post in the second Bush term and has talked about returning to academic life in California. She was a former provost at Stanford University and was a political science professor when Bush hired her. "

17. We all know that Ridge is strapped for cash to pay for his kids' college.
His $175,000 salary as Secretary of Red Herrings (Homeland Security Chief) just doesn't cut it.

I still laugh at how it proves how out-of-touch these incompetent boobs are.

18. Thompson could run for Herb Kohl's Senate seat in 2006.
Thompson could win the governorship or a senate seat. He doesn't seem to like D.C. much, though.

Wisconsin would actually be in good shape financially if that a-hole Tommy Thompson hadn't led the charge to "give the people back their money" while he was governor.
