Suicide bomber attacks U.S. convoy in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov 7 (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber attacked a U.S. military convoy on the main road to Baghdad airport on Sunday and a Humvee vehicle was hit, witnesses said.

There was no immediate word on casualties. A U.S. military spokesman said: "We cannot confirm the report at this stage." snip

U.S. troops sealed off the scene of the attack, on the main road leading to the airport in southwestern Baghdad.

A suicide car bomber killed an Iraqi civilian and wounded three U.S. soldiers on the airport road on Saturday.
