BAGHDAD (Reuters) - An Iraqi civilian was killed and two U.S. soldiers wounded in a suicide bombing in central Iraq, a military spokesman said on Thursday.

The spokesman said the incident occurred on Wednesday in the town of Al-Ramadi, a bastion of support for ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and site of frequent attacks on U.S. troops about 60 miles west of Baghdad.

Residents of the town said the bombing occurred at the entrance of the main U.S. military base in the town, which is next to the campus of a university.

4. It will be even sadder when this comes to a mall near you
And it will now that Bush has lit the fuse.

3. How many have been wounded in this war?
How many have lost arms and legs and other critical parts of their bodies. How many are permanently maimed for life? This cost is not counted nightly for all to hear.

These INJURED are people, too. They are not leaving Iraq with just a bandaid. These are serious, permanent injuries! This is another cost of the war that is swept under the rug.

Count these heroes! Count their legs and arms! Count their lives forever altered!
