Poll: Iraq Top, Taxes Bottom for Voters
Would someone tell * this?

FIRST THINGS FIRST — Twenty-seven percent of voters said resolving the situation in Iraq should be President Bush's top priority.

TAXES — A top priority for only 2 percent. Two-to-one, voters said they would rather balance the budget than cut taxes.

WHAT ELSE? — Others chose terrorism (23 percent), the economy (18 percent), health care (14 percent), unemployment (7 percent) and education (7 percent) as top priorities for the president.

BUSH QUOTE — "I earned capital in the campaign, political capital, and now I intend to spend it."

3. I walked past my mother's webtv and she was on a freeper site and
it said a poll showed that 56% thought the country was on the wrong track and they still voted for Bush!

Have no idea where this no. came from...but Americans are dumb, have to remember that!

56% of the people think the country is moving in the wrong direction.

48% of the people voted for Kerry.

That means some 8% (56 - 48) of the people think the country is moving in the wrong direction but voted for Bush anyway (or maybe didn't vote)

That is like some of the Hamlin rats behind the Pied Piper going, "Gee, do you think he's leading us to disaster? What the heck, let's just go with the flow."
