1. Weird Image came to mind

Of Colin Powel sitting with the French Ambassador to the UN who is reading the new propsal. The Ambassador slowly puts the paper down and looks at Colin.

"So" the Ambassador says "it would seem you need the aid of the, as your people say, cheese eating surrender monkeys oui? I will let you know our answer in time, but first I must to talk to the chocolate maker's Ambassador down the hall."

At least I hope that's whats happening.

2. Colin, Please Ask Mr. Bush If He Is Still Eating "Freedom Fries".
Bob3, I am sure that what came to your mind is precisely what Powell is hearing over and over and over...

All of those televised images of Americans pouring French Wine onto the ground have not been forgotten.

"Old Europe" is not going to be buttered up by Colin Powell or anyone just to send their children into Bush's quagmire. The governments of Germany, France and Russia understand that their very populations are very set against getting into this mess.

3. "Sorry, we're too busy making chocolate to send any troops to Iraq..."
"... to be commanded by you. But we hope it works out for you, we really do."
