Iranian agents captured in Falluja
http://www.iranfocus.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=731

Baghdad, Nov. 13 - Ten Iranian agents were arrested during a raid on a local mosque in Falluja following attacks by coalition forces. News of the arrests came at a press conference by the heads of the multinational and Iraqi forces in Falluja.

The latest arrests follow a string of reports blaming Iran’s religious regime of backing insurgencies in an attempt to halt the democratic process in Iraq.

The head of security in Soleimaniya (northern Iraq), Brigadier General Sarkout Hassan Jalal, said earlier this week, “Paramilitary forces secretly bring fresh forces from Iran into Iraq, and then take them to Falluja and other places.”

The Al-Sabah daily wrote on Nov. 8, “Iraqi National Guard forces arrested eight Iranians as they were blowing up food storages and other centers in Kut. After preliminary interrogations of those arrested, it became clear that they were blowing up a storage room where election ballots were stored. Voters will receive one of these cards to participate in the upcoming elections by showing their birth certificate.”

Last week, Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi urged the European Union to use its influence over Iran to stop them from "fuelling violence" in his country. Iraqi President Ghazi al-Yawar also accused Iran of orchestrating attacks in Iraq. "Iran is playing a negative role in Iraq. It is behind the assassination of more than 18 Iraqi intelligence officers. It is also playing a negative role in southern Iraq," Yawar told Kuwait's Al-Qabas newspaper

14. Sunni helped the Shia in Najaf, & Shia are now helping Sunni in Falluja
The fighters in Fallujah believed to be mostly Sunni have won backing from Shia leaders who fought U.S. forces in Najaf earlier.

The "a civil war will break out between Sunni & Shia if we leave" is just BUSHIT.

Bush is bringing all the forces together just like he wants. There is a very specific reason you aren't seeing a lot of videos with Laden complaining lately. He has nothing to complain about!

5. No surprise there. Iran is a known enemy.
we should seal the iraq/iran border and shoot on sight anybody who tries to cross it. the Iranian agents should be summarily executed as spies. Perhaps a missile or two might deter the Iranians in the future.

9. Uhhh... what?
Don't you mean the Iraqis should seal the border? they are after all a "sovreign nation" now. Remember that little ceremony where Bremer handed over control of the country then split on the next plane out? After all, we weren't able to proceed in Fallujah with out the Iraqis go ahead... yeah right!

47. Obviously, our Marines not being there is not an option.
In war, I fully believe that we have the option to summarily execute any spy. It is well established. to win, we must use the options available. the piece of shit Iranian spies should be stood up against a wall and face a firing squad, or the hangman's gallows. Yeah, maybe we shouldn't be there, but we are there, and we must use every means available to destroy the enemy and bring a democratic government to Iraq.

13. so it starts
the inevitable buildup to war with Iran.

They're going to pull all kinds of propaganda bullshit to convince Americans that Iran is an evil threat and must be invaded...

Remember the lies we heard before Iraq?

The lies before Iran are gonna make those earlier lies look like little white lies.

This is going to be a disaster.

37. I can see that coming
Keep putting the little blips in the media about Iranian spies or paramilitaries being captured in Iraq, then slowly build the stories to a crescendo of proven activities by the Iranian govt. Voila! The reason we can't stabilize Iraq is because of Iranian interference, sanctioned by their government. All Iran's fault- they must be invaded.

25. Don't forget
all bush and cronies do is sew chaos and live off the margins.. no matter where it is, here, Iraq, Iran, the market, whatever..

they've done the same in the biz world.. the company sinks while they walk away with all the money in their arms..

standard practice, they've honed to an artform, and of course the commom populace is so stupid, busy or propgandized to know this.

they are not dumb at all, they know exactly what they are doing.. they have set up a lemonade stand and are selling bloodfilled cups to the Armageddon troops..

the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqi. They're as Iranian as a 10 year old girl killed by our bombs is an insurgent.
The set-up is starting. Anyone who thinks the administration wants to 'win a war' is fooling themselves. Iraq is just one very successful step in the never-ending-war-industry movement.
