4. Yeah, my nephew is over there.
A marine from Camp Pendleton. Fighting against a third rate army with 3rd rate ammunition who never threatened us. It's slowly sinking in their psyches.

6. May he come home
in one piece and his mind intact.
I would just love to see Bu$h shackled and manacled before the World Court for crimes against humanity.

5. Those who answer their country's call are to be honored...
regardless of the crassness of the administration that calls upon them. Thank you, saigon68, for honoring those who have paid the ultimate price. I may be Canadian but I do honor those who die in service to their country even though I abhor the decision made by the administration of the govt they serve.

7. Well we try to at least put a name to a number.

As you are aware there are some RIGHT WING NAZI HOODLUMS like Sinclair broadcasting, extreme right wing racist hate sites and extremist fundamentalist christian websites that don't want bodies shown or names mentioned for fear the amerikan sheep may wake from their sound slumber.

As long as Skinner lets us, many veterans and like minded patriots will honor our fallen soldiers by keeping their memory alive.

Our president is a lazy oaf who could care less about the sacrifices our service people have made, as he was an AWOL coward in another war. His mother has a sick and vile mind and apparently has night mares when in her words "My beautiful mind is bothered by the sight of coffins". Her picture is on the american $1.00 bill.

8. Need a Moment of Truth
Bush sent our kids to die with no valid reason. Yes, these kids did what their CIC ordered in the belief he knew what he was doing. He didn't. They died in vain. People need to start being honest.

9. What honour?
What honour is there bombing hospitals and killing doctors for propaganda reasons, so they could not speak to media about civilian victims?

What honour is there not letting male population to escape from the battle field, what honour is there denying entry of aid workers?

What honour is there using massive, indiscriminate fire power to kill combatants and civilians alike?

Not only the civilian administration but also the military has made Geneva convention dead letter, and with it abandonded common decency and the humanity: http://www.empirenotes.org/

Ignorance is no defence for any murderer. I would hope we are on the same side, against any murdorous tyranny, where ever such is established, and servitude to that tyranny.

16. Making believe makes us feel better
Of the dead soldiers we will never know the beasts from
the humans. Rest assured, there are beasts among the dead.

11. May they rest in peace.
My thoughts go out to their families, and the families of the 1174 other dead American soldiers, and the families of the dead coalition soldiers, and the Iraqis who've lost family in this travesty.

Resquiat in Pacem.

15. ::Sigh::
I wonder how many must die, on every side, before this mess is over? I wonder how many myst die, on every side, before the American people realize that Buh is nothing more than a cold-blooded killer? I wonder how many must die, on every side, before the world wakes up to its responsibility and puts a stopper to Bush's megalomania?

I can't help but wonder if they were identified by their "kill numbers" written on their hands in indelible ink....

And I still find the phrase, "Operation Iraqi Freedom" absolutely obscene.
