Step 1: Blackwell doesn't have to certify until Friday, Dec. 3rd. And you know Blackwell will do that 11:59 PM Dec 3rd...
Step 2: After certification, a group may apply for a recount. And then Blackwell has 10 days to finish said recount...
Under Ohio law, any candidate who does not win an election may request a recount within five days of the official certification of a vote. The cost of the recount is $10 per precinct, meaning that a recount of all of Ohio's precincts would cost $113,600.
The recount must be completed within 10 days of the request being made.
Step 3: The Safe Harbor date this year is December 13th.
Remember the 2000 SCOTUS decision: "Gore can now recount Florida - you have 2 hours."
I'm posting this so that the recount crew will not be ambushed. We have a month to find a way around this dilemma.
