An Iraqi Red Crescent convoy blocked from entering Falluja by US forces has appealed to the United Nations.
...
The Red Crescent sent a convoy of essential goods along with 53 volunteers and three doctors from Baghdad to attend to people in Falluja.
...
Abu Fahd, a member of the relief convoy, told Aljazeera that "the relief convoy wants to enter Falluja town for humanitarian purposes only, to save women, children and elderly people".
...
"None of the injured residents are being allowed to come to the hospital, while those outside are not allowed to go into the town," Abu Fahd said.
...
"They are dying of starvation and lack of water, especially the children," Red Crescent spokeswoman Firdus al-Ubadi said.

1. I'd like to know
why the US troops block aid people from entering Falluja. Aren't they the good guys?

2. Didn't we announce that the major operations are over in Fallujah?
If that's true, what could possibly lead us to refuse entry to aid workers? The doublespeak and constant contradictions are making me ill. I can't believe how f*cked up this is. On second thought, I can't believe shit like this still surprises me.

4. "They are dying of starvation and lack of water, especially the children,"
said Red Crescent spokeswomen. No can do mom, we've
got democracy to bring first.

6. and the whole population is living in Reservations
surviving on whatever the US military decides they can have. Anyone who tries to escape is shot or captured and hung.

This is what happened to the Indians -- the military had control of Reservations -- overseers were white who often stole from provisions that were supposed to go to the Indians.

All treaties with the Indians have been broken.

Starvation, disease --

Death marches from areas that are deemed by the President to be Indian Free.

7. The US won't listen to the UN. They never have...
It's useful as a tool for US power, but as soon as it's an obstacle it is ignored.
