THE FAMILY of military policeman Thomas Keys, murdered in Iraq, will tomorrow be handed an Army report detailing his horrific death.
Lance-Corporal Thomas Keys, 20, from Llanuwchllyn, Bala, was gunned down on June 24 last year as he and five colleagues defended a civilian police station against an Iraqi mob in Al Majar al-Kabir near Basra.
His family, along with relatives of the five other Red Caps, will be given a 40-page summary of an inquiry into the murders by the Royal Military Police's Special Investigations Branch.
The families will have 30 minutes to read the report before questioning defence secretary Geoff Hoon and armed forces minister Adam Ingram.
Three hours have been put aside for the questions and answers.
The families say they fear a "whitewash" but hope the report will reveal exactly what happened to their loved ones.

"In the first place we were told their bodies were brought out by ambulance. Since then we heard they were brought out in the boot of a doctor's old jallopy."
