AMBER ALERT: Missing 10-Year-Old Boy In Collierville, Tennessee


Hunter Wade Craig

November 17, 2004

A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a 10-year-old boy missing in Collierville, Tennessee.

Hunter Wade Craig was reported missing after his parents woke this morning to find him not in his bed. They say they last saw Tuesday night about 9:00.

Hunter was last seen wearing a green T-shirt with black and orange shorts. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He's 4-foot-11 and weighs 90 pounds.

COLLIERVILLE (WATE) -- The TBI said Wednesday morning that a 10-year-old boy was found unharmed after a statewide Amber Alert was issued.

Hunter Wade Craig was reported missing in Collierville after his parents woke Wednesday morning to find him not in his bed. They said they had last seen him Tuesday night about 9:00.

5. Big difference, though
There are specific criteria that needs to be met in order to issue one. It isn't possible to order one if a kid is simply missing.

He apparently went for an early morning walk without telling his parents.

Police in Collierville say Hunter Wade Craig was found in a park about two miles from his home.

Unless this kid was complexly missing.

If they do that too often it will be like the Terror Alerts. Ignored.

hits me in the gut.

We live in a world where sickos are just as likely to abduct boys as girls these days.
