Jimmy Carter, Menachem Begin, and Anwar Sadat have a signed peace deal that is still holding. This is far neyond anything the repugs have ever accomplished in the region.

Except the Palestinian people are in a weaker position from which to deal with Israel. In fact there is no dealing at this point.

This is purely speculation on my part but I think Sharon is just waiting for another suicide attack from Palestine then the Israel military is going to call up reservists and go in to all the occuppied territories.

It would make terrorists of us all if an occupying force proceded to blow up our homes making most of us hopeless refugess, and kept us from moving around to get to work. How much of this could or would we Americans take before we would be resorting to fighting back?
