Bush would use mini-nukes, prof warns
http://www.madison.com/captimes/opinion/column/zweifel/56811.php

Is George Bush the most dangerous president in U.S. history?

If you ask Professor John Swomley, he is.

Swomley, who teaches Christian ethics at the St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City, has authored an indictment of the Bush administration's foreign policy that includes actual plans to use nuclear bombs as pre-emptive weapons.

It is essential, he says in a magazine article, for Americans to understand that the administration has directed the military to prepare plans to use nuclear weapons against at least seven countries - China, Russia, North Korea, Syria, Iran, Libya and Iraq.

Presumably, had Iraq had those so-called weapons of mass destruction and had used them when we invaded the country this spring, we were prepared to drop a weapon of mass destruction of our own.

1. This is what truly scares me about this very small man.
He has the demeanor, temprement, and arrogance to follow through on it. I think he could order a nuke dropped and not give it a second thought in his self-righteous and untroubled mind.

I heard that he had authorized theater battle commanders to use their discretion on their use, further escalting the likelyhood of the weapons use.

Do Americans realize the power that this unelected and, no doubt, criminal fraud has? Do they understand the consequences that America would live with for generations to come?

3. Eisenhower sat on those in his Administration and the military who would
nuked 'em on any number of ocassions. And now theatre-commanders are authorized to use their own discretion? Where will this lead us to?

2. Nukes approved or condoned?
Yes, and our dear senators want to fund more nukes for the resident chimp and cohorts to have available for furthering their twisted ideology.
