Dwight Eisenhower famously sowed confusion as a means of controlling the debate, and his political foes.

Wesley Clark doesn't seem nearly so sophisticated.

Just confused.

2. Consider the source

The NY POst is a republican party mouthpiece.

However, I would warn Clark that he needs to state his position and never waver from it. This is a campaign where the media deals with soundbites. You can't appear to waver or they'll jump on you.

Also, if anyone saw the movie Chicago--it's true--the press can only handle one idea at a time. And they can only handle one story line at a time. They will soon either all decide that Clark is the Dems' hero, or that he's not ready for prime time, and once they decide that, they will never let go of that theme.

They interrupted their wall-to-wall Hillary obsession to play up Clark's change in statements about the war resolution.

They placed their daily Hillary story below the Clark story.

And where the hell does this come from?
