Personal physicians endangered species? |
|
< http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2005/05/23/the_endangered_primary_care_md?mode=PF>This column appeared in the Boston Globe today from a source that has had in-depth experience dealing with the delivery of health care. We are in danger of losing personal health care and replacing it with a corporate model. Time to actively work for a single payer system to keep your local doctor. Talk alone will not do it anymore. In Mass and Vermont such plans are on the table. Write your legislators if this is an issue for you. Below I have also included the bio for the author of this morning's article. < http://www.brownrudnick.com/bio/bio.asp?ID=29>
