The Press Can Not Ignore Public Pressure
The reason the press has ignored the wrongdoing of the Bush Administration is that far to few people have demanded coverage of it. There hasn't been any public outcry for information at all and so stores that might have been told have died, most right after their first breath of life. The Downing Street Minutes, and associated memos, will die too if there isn't an outcry to know more.

So write your LOCAL papers. Forget about the New York Time (unless you live in New York) or the Washington Post (for your DC denizens), go to the Midtown Daily News, and the Suburbia Star with your letters. Demand your local town papers carry the story, don't worry abut the majors, they will follow suite. Today is the day. Send in your letters to editors all over the country demanding to know more and the implications for the administration.

The answer is at the level of the local media, not the national. Call your local radio stations and ask for the news, call your local paper and ask for the news, if there are any TV stations still broadcasting in your area call them too. Demand coverage and you'll get coverage.
