Ted Rall - Bush: Why we hate him
http://www.uexpress.com/tedrall/

Okay, I disagree with his conclusion, but I love this line:

"Where working-class populists see him as a smug, effeminate frat boy who wouldn't recognize a hard day's work if it kicked him in his self-satisfied ass, intellectuals see a simian-faced idiot unqualified to mow his own lawn, much less lead the free world."

I prefer this explanation from a DUers signature quote:

'We stand at Rossa's grave not in sadness, but in exultation of spirit... This is a place of peace sacred to the dead, where men should speak with all charity and all restraint; but I hold it a Christian thing... to hate evil, to hate untruth, to hate oppression, and hating them to strive to overthrow them... while Ireland holds these graves, Ireland unfree, shall never be at peace.'

We hate Bush because we hate evil, untruth, and oppression and those are the things that Bush has stood for these last four years. It is not one act, but a "pattern of abuses and usurpations evincing a design" to create absolute despotism. (As Thomas Jefferson wrote, denouncing an earlier George.)
